Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd then went on to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were defeated within the first five minutes. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. It left a blemish on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing to Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and was victorious via submission armbar in the 2nd round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill as she was able to stop her third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC21 was her final fight with the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. In her second fight, she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the first round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of evening. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
