While she was at Boston University's School of the Arts of Boston University, Noureen began to establish the basis of her career. Noureen started auditioning for roles following her graduation. She then starred as a character in Ghost World (2001), which was a movie that received a lot of praise and was awarded an Golden Globe nod.
